Orange County Dept of Education (OCDE)

The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is a public education organization that supports 27 school districts, over 600 schools, and more than 20,000 educators, serving more than 500,000 students in Orange County. OCDE provides support services, professional development, and student programs through its various divisions and departments, including Administrative Services, Alternative Education, Business Services, Career and Technical Education, Information Technology, Instructional Services, Legal Services, School and Community Services, and Special Education.

 

Our vision is for Orange County students to lead the nation in college and career readiness and success. We support this vision in collaboration with educators from early childhood through higher education, and in partnership with families, businesses, and community organizations. We believe that achieving national leadership in college and career readiness is ambitious but attainable for Orange County students.
